Stolen Device Replacement Policy

Premium Protection for Zevlix Customers

At Zevlix, we are committed to protecting your home and ensuring peace of mind. Our Stolen Device Replacement Policy provides a one-time complimentary replacement for eligible devices that are stolen — but only if the device was covered by a valid Zevlix Warranty or Protection Plan at the time of purchase.

This policy is designed to offer fair, transparent, and fraud-resistant support, consistent with the standards of top U.S. consumer electronics brands.


1. Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a stolen device replacement, all of the following conditions must be met.

1.1 Warranty / Protection Plan Must Be Purchased at the Time of Device Purchase

The following conditions apply:

  • The Zevlix Warranty or Protection Plan must be purchased in the same order as the device, or
  • Must be purchased on the same calendar day as the device purchase.
  • Warranty purchased after the day of device purchase is not eligible for replacement.
  • Warranty purchased after the theft or after the device goes missing is invalid.

Not eligible under any circumstances:

  • Purchasing a warranty after the device has been stolen;
  • Purchasing a warranty days, weeks, or months after buying the device;
  • Adding a warranty to older or already-owned devices retroactively;
  • Attempting to use a newly purchased plan to claim a replacement for an already-missing device.
Important: Only devices that had an active plan purchased at the time of sale are eligible for stolen replacement. Devices without a plan purchased at checkout are not eligible under any condition.

1.2 Active Coverage Required at the Time of Theft

The device must have been covered by a valid Zevlix Warranty or Protection Plan at the exact time the theft occurred:

  • The 12-month complimentary Free Warranty / Protection Plan, or
  • A paid Extended Warranty / Protection Plan.

If all warranty coverage had expired prior to the theft, the device is not eligible.

1.3 One-Time Replacement Limit

Each device is eligible for one (1) lifetime stolen device replacement.


2. Required Documentation

To ensure claim integrity and prevent fraudulent submissions, the following documents are required:

  • Official police report documenting the theft;
  • Original purchase receipt showing the device and Warranty purchased together;
  • Proof of device registration in your Zevlix account before the theft;
  • Claim submitted within 15 days of the theft date.

3. How to File a Claim

Step 1 — Report the Theft

  • File an official police report with your local authorities;
  • Do not disturb the installation site until police allow it;
  • Take photos of the damaged or removed installation area if possible.

Step 2 — Prepare Your Documents

  • Police report copy;
  • Original purchase invoice;
  • Device registration proof;
  • Photos of the installation site (optional but recommended).

Step 3 — Submit Your Claim

Log in to your Zevlix account and complete the Stolen Device Replacement Claim Form. Upload all required documents.


4. Replacement Device Details

Upon approval, Zevlix will provide:

  • The same model as the stolen device, or
  • A comparable or upgraded model if the original model is unavailable.

Replacement devices do not extend or renew the original warranty.


5. Fraud Prevention & Enforcement

Zevlix maintains stringent fraud-prevention standards. A claim may be denied if:

  • Warranty was purchased after device theft;
  • Documents appear falsified or inconsistent;
  • Purchase records cannot be validated;
  • Device was never added to a Zevlix account;
  • Multiple suspicious claims originate from the same user or address;
  • Any other activity reasonably suggests abuse or fraud.

Zevlix reserves the right to request additional documentation and to deny any claim we deem fraudulent or abusive.


6. Policy Disclaimer

The Stolen Device Replacement Program is provided as a courtesy benefit by Zevlix. It is not an insurance product and is not guaranteed by law.

Zevlix may update or modify this policy at any time. Changes will not affect claims already submitted within valid coverage periods.
